not only red color has such strips but blue and green also. what is the best way to turn down red color? i was using color corrections 3 way.

i used built-in mic and turned recording level to the almost nothing (on HVX it was just two dots for regulators) but sound distorted like anything. For me it is little strange because the same amount of distortion i get with high recording level as with low one.

BTW where i can buy that attenuator and what price for it?

Ben, did you get any help or solution to the distortion problem?

I cant understand how it comes that even on cheap amateur camera i got much better, not distorted sound then my new HVX200?

I reduced recording level to most minimum that i almost cant hear it and sound still distorted. what we did wrong?

when you on VCR mode just press and hold mode button untill PC mode will come. then you have to see “1394 DEVICE” message on the flip monitor of the camera
