Cannot mount HVX200 to mac!!!
I am using the camera for the first time and we have to shoot tomorrow morning. Please help me!! I followed the manual and tried to connect using both firewire and USB. Nothing mounts, no disk image, no where. Using 10.4.7 powermac G5 with all of the requirments. When I switched between fire and USB I changed the settings in the menu accordingly. I am in VRC mode with the thumbnails on the preview screen, but nothing happens on the computer. I downloaded the drivers that were on this site for a mac, but still nothing… Someone please help me.

when you on VCR mode just press and hold mode button untill PC mode will come. then you have to see “1394 DEVICE” message on the flip monitor of the camera

Also on the Mac it’s via Firewire only- never USB.
