None of any of the available app’s will work with Boris. Boris and subtitles which need to be (inter)changed is a NoGo – unless you only have a few.
If you’re doing subtitles use one of the ‘open’ text generators made for subtitles. There are free and commercial ones frome VideoToolshed, my TextUp V2, and the commercial ones from Digital Heaven and me with TextUp Pro.
In your case you unfortunately have to do them again.

Really great work.
I may give some suggestions.
You should place the OSAX in the global /Library/Scripting Additions. So all users can have access.
If you got the Apple Xcode installed, create an empty Apple scriptable application which does nothing, not even launch. This app will be your bridge to ObjC and you don’t have to use to script Automator anymore — which will always launch and this is a bit annoying.
Alternatively you can use the app attached which does the thing described.
Try:
tell application id "SFTU"
return call method "path" of (call method "URLWithString:" of class "NSURL" with parameter theURL)
end tell
So you can rename the app to any other name you like in your installation.
With the installation things you might have a look at Iceberg. It’s easy to use, free and will help the users not to worry about what has to be copied where.Anyway great work.

They are available,
In the old days of 3D there were glass screens available which could be attached to any computer monitor (as long the size somehow matched). Cabling was a through from the graphics card to the glass screen’s adapter and from there to the monitor. You needed ‘stacked’ movies or pictures and the polarized glasses. Was pretty cool.
Nowadays it should be easy as you finally don’t need 3D to edit 3D. If you are using a 3D cam the focus distance is fixed once you hit the record key (or might be changed during recording). Thing is that you can’t change it any more in Post. Same thing with dual cam rigs.
With dual cams you might to have match sync and/or color first. Once you have done just edit right or left eye. When done match edits, effects and colors to the other eye (with FCP this can be done easily via XML) and export the streams or create one of the needed formats.
Interleaved 3D does halve the resolution – so you may wait for UHDTV 🙂Andreas

There is also Neo 3D from Cineform which a kind of ‘system wide’ software for 3D. It allows to switch thru all possible 3D options in most applications within the menu bar — once the clips have been linked in the Neo 3D app.

I agree with Bouke.
But if you still want to do it by your own don’t use any of the text generators supplied with the Final Cut Pro installation. Bouke has done one which comes for free with the demo of his subtitling app, I’ve done a free one as well (TextUp) and there are commercial ones both from Digital Heaven and me. All of these are created with the ‘subtitling’ in mind and will free you from the burden to position the lines for each subtitle.
The other point is if it’s a DVD you probably want to load those titles into DVD Studio – if you want switchable subtitles rather than burned in.
There are also packages which can read the FCP subtitles and convert them into a format DVD SP can read. One of them is my TitleExchange which can do the job for you. The limited free version allows to convert 50 titles a time, but you can do it several times and merge the stuff in TextEdit.Andreas
