As Nick said, just keyframe the distort parameter (plus position).
In case you use trackX, you’ll get a proper result easier and faster. The result for sure will be better as shown in the example.
Regarding planning: in this case it doesn’t when where the involved clips are shot. There is no special relation between them.
Technical aspects:
green, blue monitors can help, but I personally wouldn’t use it in this case. If the track wouldn’t fit 100% the red, green back could ‘flicker’ behind or when keyed out a black ones.
Use a black screen: you can track it and keep as separate layer to add realistic reflections later (color mode: lighten)
In your case track backwards.– Andreas

Launch the app and activate in in the “security pane”.
Make a selection of what kind of list you want.
Click “select”.
The app’s result will be placed in the clipboard.
Open a text doc or a spreadsheet doc and press “cmd-v”.https://spherico.com/filmtools/X-Files/X-IndexList/XIL%20Install.dmg

You may try Resolve to convert it or use the 7toX app.Spherico

The clone – a disk image – will appear as camera in FCPX.Spherico

You may try my psTitles – but you need a Spruce STL as source.https://www.spherico.com/filmtools/TitleExchange/psTiltles/index.html

December 15, 2016 at 3:13 pm in reply to: Broadcast quality subtitles plugin for FCP X that will pass Netflix qcI chime in cause Noah mentioned my X-Title tools (spherico/filmtools).
Few things worth to mention here:
1) SugarFX Subtitle is 99 USD.
2) Burned-In subtitles shouldn’t cause a problem anywhere.
3) 3rd Party companies – even if approved – normally don’t deliver rendered movies. So what to do? It’s a bit trial and error:
Change subtitle color/saturation/brightness.
Try the same with the outline.
Try a blured and/or more or less transparent outline.
Try a combination of the above. Some of the “Try … ” are easier to handle with Motion “Title” templates.
Deliver a separate subtitle file.While this kind of self-promotion ☺ give X-Titles a try
Hope that helps.
