Here a question for you.
Is there any logical reason for:
a) there is no export of legacy titles anymore.
b) the text data of exported “new titles” are not encoded UTF-8 (beside the base64 encoding which is needed for the XML)– Andreas

You can run multiple instances of FCP on the same machine as long you have several cores available.

The question is : are you talking about titles or subtitles/captions.
While a “Title” easily can be extended to a 90% region, subtitle region finally shrinks:
BBC recommendation is 68%. This is understandable since “eye focus regions” didn’t change only cause of (U)HD was introduced.
Finally the safe region are self-defining for subtitles cause of the characters per line which are readable in a convenient time.– Andreas

1) With TEP the TextUp generator is installed. Try to use this one.
2) Split your .srt into a “centered” and “left” entries. Can easily be done in a spreadsheet.Andreas

You must select the caption file in the browser.
Then File > Export > Captions > SRTSpherico
