yes, we can make it look the same after the grain addition, but why do we have to fix this?

i think grain would really be useable in davinci if we had the option to loop the footage and
the ability to just add the grain without the luminance hassle…

but it is def a step in the right direction!

and another thing: i noticed you’ve got the problem like me when overlaying the
grain clip. shouldn’t the contrast or brightness be the same in overlay mode if the
grain is middle-grey?

i agree totally, i wanna see the values!!!

and i don’t see any advantage of not updating the gui.
doing something at the same time with the mouse? hm,
i can’t think of anything useful but clicking on the proper
tab to actually see what i am doing valuewise…

sascha, do you think bm does this on purpose to reward
people who do use the big iron?
(same goes for memories a-h and not being able to jump directly to clips)

another thing:
just found out that the menu labels aren’t “labelled unique”! that’s a problem if you are
in snow leo and you want to customize the shortcuts via system preferences!

eg:
Mark>Keyframe Timeline Mode>All
but also
Color>Render Cache>All

now i can’t access the Timeline Mode via shortcut 🙁

there is a “workaround”:
just go to the “deck room”, then davinci will release the videocard.
