aparently replacing doesn’t work from mpeg to AVI, oh well. Transcoded externally and it now works.

Also, suddenly for every cut I have to wait four second to complete.
What’s wrong with Premiere’s multi camera? Also, can’t understand why I would need to render a regular DV frame when it’s selected from the multicam with no effects. It’s not changed, it’s the same frame. -
while on the issue, why can’t I see the sound wave on the nested comp?

Yes, that’s nice but not really satisfying as following the position is not really the same thing is a following an object with an anchor point and rotation values. Also, it gives the position values of the null rather that follow the changes in them.

Are you using the trial version or some beta? Did you upgrade to 4.01?
AHve tried importing as mp4 rather than mxf? -
I think the proper way would be to precompose both layers and tell AE not to bend the eyes
