Hello Eric, I think this is what you are asking about:

    Command 1 = Viewer
    Command 2 = Canvas
    Command 3 = Timeline
    Command 4 = Browser

    🙂

I remedied that problem when I purchased the full version of “Flip4Mac”, a program that allows you to play WMV files with the Quicktime player. The free version will only let you export a fraction of your project. Hope this helps……….

“I’m offered all of my drives and “recent places”

Once you see all your drives on the save as window, you should just click on the appropriate drive and folder to specify exactly where you want to put the file.

by the way David, just to satisfy my logic, are the “dropped frames” caused the media and the system programs/applications all on one drive, and therefore they are conflicting with each other? Having the 2nd dedicated “media” drive keeps them all separated, thus avoiding conflicts?

Thanks so much David! FCP, as far as the program itself, can stay on the system drive right? It’s all the rendering files, logged & capture files, that need to be ran on that 2nd HD right?

excellent. I guess I have been lucky! So I need to keep all of my FCP media on this 2nd drive when I get it?

I do not have a disk warrior. So once I get it, run it on the drive? (I only have one drive.)
