Nevermind, I figured it out. The source QT was just playing back slowly. The Deinterlace Best (Motion Compensated) fixed the jitters on the web file (under frame controls). In case someone else gets stuck.

Thanks Kevin. The apple tv and ipod codecs make mpeg-4’s, but they will only open on Macs. The straight mpeg-4 codec was the way to go. -Ali

I didn’t change any masters clips, I subclipped everything. I shutdown everything and restarted and the clips were reconnected. But for future reference, how do you reconnect because the audio and video are in separate folders and the video is .mxf files whereas the reconnect media function is looking for .mov files. -Ali

Thanks for the information about bit rate. I changed it and it put it through Compressor at the settings you recommended. My only other question is time. It’s been going for 2 hours and says 7 hours remaining. Is there any way around that? I have a G4 laptop with 2GB of ram. -Ali
