I hear what you are saying and that normally that would work.
However, I need the AJA KiPro Rack, or whatever we use as a destination device, to record the video and six tracks of AES audio together.
Because of our turn around time and number of clips we will shoot, syncing audio in post will slow us down too much.

We used to do this perfectly with the PIX 240i, but we just lost that device.

This is an old thread, but I was looking into this topic and found this:

I think it is an SDI loop that will also read the embedded time code and then convert it to LTC.
