    sounds dumb…

    nest first…

then reverse the main clip (not inside the nest)..

Is this a dynamic link question?

From PPro, you only need to send the 2nd green screen from the PPro timeline to AE.

in AE you’ll now have a comp that relates to your 2nd green screen, with only that green screen.

From here you have a couple of choices.

go back to the first comp (which should also be in the same AE project)

and copy and all layers except for the green screen, and paste them into the new comp (below the green screen)

    OR

in the original comp you can precompose ONLY those layers from that comp excluding the green screen. without knowing the construction of the comp it’s a little hard to say exactly.

but if it’s just a plate setup, it would work.

now you would have a comp for that plate that you can drop in as many shots as you need to.

if it’s a heavy background setup….it might be worth rendering the background plate comp….because if it’s identical in the other shots…it might save some render time over all…

it would be useful for PPro to allow a local pre-render of multi-cam source…

    maybe a features request…

    XMP’s in general…

    soooo…

has this project been migrated or moved in some way…?

    somehow it’s “found” a match that’s not correct…

    We’ve met Joe, haven’t we? I used to work for discreet…quite a while ago…

    hashed lines indicate that somehow…

the item, as edited on the timeline

are attempting to use frames that don’t exist in the bounds of the underlying media file.

if it has been relinked to a wrong media file or a new file of an incorrect duration…

the frames being called are outside the associated media extents…

can you match back to source viewer? is it playable?

    reveal in project or finder…

something is not connecting to the correct something….

March 20, 2015 at 4:27 pm in reply to: Audio source – pan vs. stereo file

    Just to confirm….

    you have stereo source file…

they recorded on only one channel…

and you wan that same audio to be on left and right?

if that’s true….then your workflow will solve it.

it’s also possible to map the source in the project panel so that the one channel feeds both channels so u won’t have to add the effect after the fact….but your way works too..

March 17, 2015 at 3:31 pm in reply to: Workflow – possibility to autoUpdate footages ?

    sorry…

AS is just the word as

    wherever AE is rendering to…

run a script at the Operating system level that just copies that file

to a different folder where PPro would be reading the file from

but always rename the PPro file with the same name.

that way it will always link to whatever is current version…

you might be able to do this with a watch folder and Adobe media encoder…

not sure if will allow overwriting though…
