Well…no matter which way the arrow is pointing…you can easily rotate it any direction you need. Not much control over the stem length though…
Photoshop is a pretty good option too.
As I recall, creating custom arrow heads is part of the line tool option.

you could assign related clips to the same “tape name” in the project panel prior to dropping in the sequence…
then you can find in the timeline by tape name
that help?

They might have the anchor point set to the left edge and some ease in on the key frames.

I Can’t answer that from experience…
you might consider render and replace of dynamic link comps in an “archive master” version of your sequence as a final step just prior to archive.
that way the back up will at least have media versions of the files to restore…

Hi David…
Make subclips from the master.
Mark your in/out then hit cmd(or ctrl on pc) U.
sub clips use the same under lying media but are soft limited to the in and points you set. you can however disable the soft limits and get back to the full clip extents again.
But that way you can mark as many i/o from a master clip as you want…just label them accordingly and you should be good.

hmmm….
maybe the juggling can be done in AE…
since you have the comp in ae…
could you
duplicate that comp in AE so you don’t loose that work…
but then delete what is in that comp and nest your perferred comp in that comp…
that way you don’t need to change the relationship between PPro and AE, but you get the result you want?
