Hi,

1) click the time ruler not the timeline area

2) Nope, not that I know of.

3) Nope, just a different way of working. can’t keep vid and audio layed out together.

4) a) no layers are fixed, clips are dragged
4) b) no…users from Vegas have indicated this a lot.

5) this really goes along with 4b — PPro and most video NLE’s don’t have same track non destructive edits. when an object is removed, the other object does not retain it’s previous continuity. They data is not gone, but it would have to be retrimmed. You should checkerboard edit between tracks if this is important to you.

They do listen to feature requests though…so make some noise if it’s impotant to you….

What Movie player are you using to to play the file back?

VLC usually shows the name of the file at the beginning of playback.

In your export settings,in the effects tab,

are any of the boxes checked (like “Name Overlay”) ?

I’m a big fan of Bridge. But I will admit that I have run into exactly your issues on our team. It’s really not designed for groups.

Querying across multiple network volumes is particularly frustrating.

Are you sure that the GPU is being recognized under Windows 10?

In PPro check that Mercury Play Back (File>Project Settings) sees the GPU and is not in “software only.”

Based on your description…

It looks like the PPro video overlays aren’t respecting the 200% factor of the windows 10 settings to me…

though I have no direct experience here.

I wouldn’t fear that you you’re actually losing source data because of it.

export a piece and see how it looks outside the application.

If you go to the IN point and LIFT the marked area…

(leaving a gap)

then (assuming your tracks are patched properly)

Paste

does this get you what you want? (lift should put your lifted clip in the clipboard)

If you open the multicam nest sequence and examine the edits around that time…

notice anything unusual compared tot he rest of the seqeunce(s)?
