OH MY GOD YOU ARE Andreas Feix!!!!!, i am a HUGE fane of your brickfilms, when i saw your site the first time and clicked tutorials and saw that you used PIllusion i was like, oh cool, maybe i might see this guy in the PIllusion forums one day, and here you are!!!!!!, i just want to say…… YOU MAKE WICKED AWSOME MOVIES!!!!!!!!. i will make an atom bomb shockwave and post it ASAP

here is how to make a smoke/effect end without just dissapeiring
add an emitter (i am adding some smoke)
now select “life” in the left coner and at the bottom click the scroll bar and drag it up untill you see a line, now goto which frame you want the smoke to stop being produced and click on the line ounce on the left side of the frame you are on and ounce on the right of the frame you are on now drag the one closest to the right on your screen down all the way down

if you convert a .avi to a .png it will just be a frame not a moving video, to convert a .wmv .mpg or .mov to an uncompressed avi open up the video you want to convert to an avi into your video editing program (i use sony screenblast movie studio) if you dont have that you can download videomach wihch you can get https://videomach.com/VideoMach-2.7.2.exe . and now click make movie, now where you choose the template or codec choose uncompressed
now make the movie,

yes there is, when you are exporting the video choose where to save it and hit ok, another window pops up and at the bottom left corner there should be a checkbox asking you to use audio from this layer aka video, click it and hit ok

i cannot explain the pause thing, but i can help you out with the weird looking explosion, in the right corner of PIllusion there should be a little menu type thing
right click on the explosion and click properties now exit out of properties and your explosion should look normal.
