Just thought I let you know I solved my problems a while ago. I went to widows control panel and there you have an intensity settings icon. It is here that you can tweak the cards main settings. after trying a few setting… no more blurry screen and real time preview for mos formats is restored. hope this helps

I have the exact same problem. I finally got my intensity card to work with my system after a lot of headaches and now my display is not right. I’m using a Sony Bravia HDTV to preview SD and HD material. Premiere displays images with no problem, very happy there. But After Effects which is my main aplication will not. HD looks a little pixelated, but SD material look horrible half resolution at best but After Effects is set at Full resolution. I have not idea what to do. Help!

Thanx for the advice. I do have a 900W power supply and I’m running XP proffecional. I will check on the BIOS since I’m not sure if I have the latest one. But that gives me a place to start looking.

I work with After Effects at work and home. At work we have a PC fully loaded with an AJA capturing card and I get the exact same problem. (working SD at work) I can preview real time on my PC monitor but if I turn on the AJA previewing settings, half of the time I get 20-25 fps playback rather than 29.97. And Audio is all out of sync. I just purchased the Intensity card for my home system. (Dual AMD Opterons x2 core) because I’m getting more HD projects in my freelance jobs so I wanted to be able to preview on my Sony HDTV. I’m sad to hear that I most likely will run into the same problems you have.

I have similar problems with BM Intensity (Not Pro). I read on another tread that you should first uninstall your audio drivers and then install the intensity card which will load its own drivers. I disabled my on board audio and that solved some issues. I have other issues but I haven’t figured out if it’s related to the Intensity card. I have to find out how compatible it is with my Mobo (Tyan Thunder s2895) dual openterons. so if any one knows has tried this let me know. hope this helps you.
