  • i had previously only tried creating MPEG files, then i remembered I did a LPCM soundtrack last night, so i went back and found I can render AVC mts files, WAVE, and AC3 files all fine.

MPEG is the only one giving me trouble, and its the most important as i distibute only on DVD

    thanks again!

actually i figured a way to have my cake & eat it to. I just created a seperate VTS for the 4:3 videos. seperate menus & videos. the VMG menu can link to both, but you can interlink b/t the VTS’s, so the only thing I don’t like is that the “play all” button only actually plays 1/2 the disc.

  • OK thanks a lot! Appreciate the hands on support.

I’ll get the .veg file to you asap

all you need to do is render the project as 4:3 in vegas like the last dude said. whenever you go to render usually it has 4:3 selected and you have to change to 16:9, but if you do have to change to 4:3 i think its just the “render as” button off the initial “render” screen”, then click “video” at the bottom, and one of the tabs on the screen will list the aspect ratios.
