    Thanks, Jeremy. So just to clarify, I’d import the files into FCPX and check the “Create proxy media” option. Then simply send him the Proxy files from the ‘Final Cut Events’ folder – correct?

    Because of the size I’d love to avoid sending the entire Event, including the original media.

    Thanks for replying. Aren’t tapes supposed to be ‘neutral’, neither NTSC or PAL? Anyway, got the tape with the camera, which was bought in the UK, so I assume tape is PAL as well.
