yes my preview is set to Preview (auto)!
So, if I’m getting this correctly, I should try to render each clip of the project as “Magix intermediate” an then replace all of them (or can I render multiple clips togheter?), right?Could you please tell me what kind of specs should my computer have in order to process such tasks?

i’ve updated to the 352 build, rolled back to a older gpu driver and disabled the So4 plugin: so far it looks like we finally moved on! I can preview some clips and create proxy so in the next hours i’m gonna test it properly and see if everything is behaving good!

Yes I’ve done multiple clean uninstalling of Vegas but no luck with that.
So I’m going to try to update the display driver (you mean the graphic card right?) and disabling the so4, and see if anything happens.
Last try will be updating to a more recent build, if you guys can think on anything more don’t hesitate to share it!Any idea on why the only footage that’s working comes from the hero4 and nowhere else?

GPU acceleration on Vegas either OFF (won’t work on ON either though).As mentioned in my first post, no matter what footage i’m using, or what kind of project i’m working on. It’s always happening for 3 days now and never happened in 10 years of using Vegas.
The only clips that I can preview are those from the projects in which I had already created the video proxys (still event thumbnails on the timeline are blank though).
So the only step that I’m missing now, within those that George kindly suggested, is role back the display adapter driver to a previous version.Latest update:
I found out that the only clips I can see and create proxy for are videos from my Gopro Hero 4 (AVC 1920X1080 59.940fps progressive).
All other videos (from my Nikon D3200, Sony A7s, Gopro Hero7, all kinds of .mp4 clips from internet or mobile phones) won’t work at all.
It also looks like Vegas is running a lot slower than before. -
Not much to add actually, iI couldn’t find anything helpful on the internet

quick update:
I can only see the clips being played on preview (and their thumbnail on the timeline) when I’m working on a previous project in which I had already created video proxies before this problem showed up.
Other than that, complete blackout.What the hell is this?! :/

Dear all,
I would like to update you on my progresses.
Thanks to all your suggestions, I figured out that some codecs were missing on my computer.
Now that I updated the Cineform, the HVEC, and Lagarith and that “interpolate field” and “disable resample” on the PROJECT PROPERTIES are ticked I can slowmo without aliasing or not-smooth results.
I probably don’t fully understand why now it works but it does! So if any of you has a more conscious answer idibe happy to read that 🙂 -
