Respectfully, If you are building promos then you should be buying Designer sound FX and riot gear anyways.
They really are that good – and designed with promos in mind.
The designer Sound FX contains pretty much all you need to build those sounds beds and congtain tutorials on how Ak does it himself.

I know I can hardly be called a ‘regular’ in this forum, dipping in jujst oince in a while but if my 2p counts then….
1) The format certainbly works for me.
2) In an ideal world I would agree that for ‘best results’ the images are too small. However I appreciate that they are the same icons as used inside the app within the libraries so you’ve done well with what is naturally available.
3) If a way can be found to animate them then that would be great. That statement then lends itself, to the question of whether the icons within the libraries themselves could be made to be animated example too. Just a thought.
4) Alan, is this intended to be an inclusion on the web site and updated for each library added? If so can I repectfully ask that a downloadable version also be made available for convenience and for those who work on a non-internet box?
5) And while I’m thinking of ways in which to ‘find’ the emitter I’m looking for (and this comes under the banner of ‘enhancement request’ I suppose) any chance of being able to assign keywords to emitters for searching and for organising our own libraries however works best for us?

I also find that sometimes, as I’m reducing the mixture down by boiling, that a spoonful of coffee add a nice touch to the colour.

After installing Production Studio Premium a few months ago I had exactly your symptoms.
I installed the latest driver for my graphics card and all’s been well since. 🙂

I know this thread is month old now but….
.. I got my copy of the Action Pack through a couple of days ago and want to add publicly that I also think this is great work. Just what I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait for Vol2.

I was having a play with this batch feature – right before Ahron produced his excellent tutorial (solving just about all my problems – where is that javascript file documented btw?).
In my playing I noticed that if Illustrator was not open then the batch process would maybe get as far as starting Illustrator only not work as expected. Make sure Illustrator CS2 is open and then initiate the batch process.
I’m not sure what the rules may be defined as but, from memory, this is what was happening for me.

I installed Production Studio Premium the other week. All five DVDs took about 40 minutes in total.
Curiously though, each DVD did have the status bar sit at the same point for ages then jump to the end.
