I have a Neato reduce noise but I did render out a bit yesterday and it was fine (as normal), I have not changed the settings at all.

Just out of curiosity how do you relink L&T files that you have imported as a different codec?
I have no problems relinking media which let’s say has been moved etc.

I have thought about deleting and re L&T as native but obviously do not want to lose everything.

Shane, the files are 35mbps and a 1 minute 8 second clip took 55 minutes to render.

I have a MacPro 8 core 2.8GHz with 8GB RAM and have a 5TB raid 0

It eats up and chucks out HDV tape at 25mbps so I must be doing something wrong.

My 1st thought was to go back to Native, I will be exporting a QT movie btw

Nick, hands on is the only way to learn anything in life so keep up that practice and go through all the tutorials on the Boris site. I was surprised to learn things on various videos even though they were for a different product.

Last time I was in Florida was 1977/8 – Christmas in Tampa and New Year in Nassau. (Somebody had to do it and it was all for Queen and country ;)) An experience I will never forget.

Nick, I have just used the on-line tutorials and the “manuals” to learn the FX and Grafitti products. I admit I am not great yet but with practice I will get there. Can you let us know exactly what the problem is, if you have a DVD tutorial (i haven’t) I would have thought you would be on your way. If you have any specific problems then post them here.

I am in the UK so don’t think a phone call will be appropriate or convenient if you are in the US – I could not find out where you are from.
