Run that audio to both cameras.

What I would suggest is using an 80-minute tape in one camera and a 60-minute in the other, so you have time to cover a tape change with the 20 minutes of overlap. DV cameras do not eject and load quickly, so this will give you time to plan and you won’t be juggling two near-simultaneous changes.

If you’re maintaining the aspect ratio, effects>motion>scale will work. If you highlight the “motion” setting, you’ll see a bounding box around the image as you scale it. Just drag the slider until the vertical fits and you’re there.

When I see stuff written as though a four-year-old was at the keyboard I tune out immediately. At that point the content stops mattering.
Writing “u” for “you” and “4” for “for” (among other things) is a great way to end up not being taken seriously.

You’ll still likely get tube breakage.
I’d also consider using Tough White Silk, a directional diffusion that spreads the beam out and makes even lighting of the green screen easier. Get some and try it – individual sheets are the same cost as other diffusion materials.

In addition to what the other guys told you in the earlier thread, if you can, split your recording into “dual mono” and drop one track by at lest 3 DB. That will give you some room for error if peaks are very hot.

There is a program called “Any Video Converter” that does that.

I have a Beyerdynamic M58, which is a nice stick mic with a long handle and very low handling noise. At the broadcast end of the scale, you will find these in reporters’ hands, along with the EV RE50.
I prefer the M58 – it has a slimmer visual profile. They both sound good.
And I keep a Sennheiser e815 as a backup. It’s a decent little mic, though not really in the same league.
