[David Johnson] “That said, if the marketing strategy is in fact still in question, perhaps the way to go is considering whether flash drives are the best choice of delivery options for the particular video and needs.”

Especially since many companies do get a bit twitchy about stick drives. And some forbid them outright.

I think a web delivery might be a better idea – if their network is up to it. Flash and WMV would be my encodes, most likely in that order unless the client specified something different.

Sparking my curiosity can be somewhat dangerous…

When you email your client the files, can he see the file but just not open it, or is it coming as an encoded attachment that he can’t decode?

I had this issue with a colleague on document files last week. She couldn’t decode what my mailer was doing to the attachments. A YouSendIt transfer solved the problem.

Very basic question here: Are you sending them electronically or giving the client the files on a stick drive or something possibly Mac-formatted, that they can’t read?

Who are the end users that will be seeing this finished piece?

    What platform are they using?

Can’t export HD to a DVD, unless it’s as a data DVD. DVD is always standard def.

Have you verified that the “motion” settings for the graphic image in Track #1 are set to no scaling or movement? No changes? No keyframes?

Thanks, Walter, for filling in a couple missing pieces in my comments.

I suspect it’s going to be three screens. Either side-by-side-by-side monitors or edge-blended projection. Sounds like an interesting project in any case.

3 x XGA resolution (1024 x 768) in width. Think of it as three XGA screens side by side.

If the audio is only coming from the left channel, go to Audio Effects > Stereo and drop “fill left” into the effects – the left channel will then be sent to both sides.
