A History tool would be quite welcome indeed.

  • I’ve said time and again, I’d pay for an additional license for Prores encoding on Windows–Hell even if it meant having another damn dongle. Or maybe Avid just needs to step up and deliver DNX4k.

Juan, it seems like you’re right. There is indeed seem to be a slight shift with Adobe’s XYZ profile.

    Why the heck is this?

More oft than not color feels like the wild west…

If you’re coming from XYZ that was created from a REC709 source, you can create a LUT that will work fairly easily yourself with a copy of Photoshop and a copy of Resolve…

  • Sounds like the best solution is to add a bit of contrast and warmth, but the real key would probably be a sky replacement.

Do you have the latest version of DaVinci installed?

When I did a test with F55 footage, both the RAW and XAVC worked fine in DaVinci.

It looks like all those benchmarks are for Open CL, which is a bit different than CUDA performance. I think you can get a general idea of where the card will sit performance wise, but It will really depend on if Davinci benefits any from the better double precision CUDA cores.

AMD’s lack of competition has really hurt pricing. 1 year later, and still $1000 for perhaps slightly less performance than the 690.

The yellow channel? I’m not aware of such a thing. In RGB yellow is minus blue (or plus red and green)

I’m not familiar with the particular effect that you are talking about but couldn’t you raise the lift of the Red and green channels with more weight on the red?
