You mean you can see the object deforming in the editor, but there’s no deformation at all occuring the render? That’s odd. Are you using the default LOD settings?

I’m not familiar with Maya’s system, but I imagine it’s patch modeling. Here are the plugin links:

I don’t have either of them, but from what I hear they work similarly and well.

You would have to convert the loft to polygons and do some poly modeling. In the alternative, there are a couple of patch modeling plugins available that would allow you to make the shape with splines.

Yes, you should see a list of animated properties to the left of the f-curve area. Just click on the one you want to work on and only it will be displayed.

I think there is a way to do it, but not the way you’ve gone about it. The offset animation function only works with keyframe animation.
I think what you’ll have to do is copy the original cloner and manually offset the keyframe animation of the cloned cubes.

You can get a better line render by enabling the Cel Render post effect and checking the “edges” box.

How are you expecting the time offset to work with the second cloner? In other words, have you actually animated the first cloner so there’s something to offset?
