Model aircraft wingtips
Okay the wings are easy, with a loft, but how do you get a nice cross section ending with the typical curve?
I’ve seen some fabulous models, so how’s it done?

You would have to convert the loft to polygons and do some poly modeling. In the alternative, there are a couple of patch modeling plugins available that would allow you to make the shape with splines.

I was hoping for something like Maya’s boundary curve surfaces.
Can you give me a hint as to the where’s and hows of the plugins Adam.

I’m not familiar with Maya’s system, but I imagine it’s patch modeling. Here are the plugin links:

I don’t have either of them, but from what I hear they work similarly and well.
