It looks to me like a bloom/glare effect was applied in post (or maybe the 3D app had a post effect for it). The material itself is nothing more than a basic shader with no specular or a very slight, wide specular. It looks like global illumination or radiosity was used for lighting, with a sky dome and GI lights behind and to each side of the text.

Here’s a tutorial on doing the glare effect in PS:

This is an annoying limitation of the Stage Object, but there’s a workaround: just create another (empty) stage object and move it above your keyframed stage object in the Object Manager. Then, when you’re ready to render, move it below the keyframed stage object.

Maxon intends to support 64 bit operation but it’s going to take a little while as Apple apparently did away with x-code (whatever that means!).

I have heard that people are having some issues with r10 and Leopard — namely, there doesn’t seem to be any way to prevent Cinema from grabbing most system resources when rendering. Hopefully that will be fixed soon. It seems that Apple actually released a version of Leopard that was never distributed to developers. 🙁

    Use the f10 hotkey.

I would scale the UVs up very slightly so they extend just beyond the edges of the plane.

I did a tutorial a while back that should be helpful.

[Pablo Hill] “Found the problem, It happens when you use fillet and caps on the text.”

Probably using too wide a fillet, which is easy to do with narrow/fancy fonts.

[Pablo Hill] “Are U sure???? I can see it perfectly form here…”

    I’m sure, unless it’s a render of a little red x.
