  • I assume you have played about with the tolerance & smoothness settings.
Its difficult to suggest a cure without seeing the problem…perhaps putting a low level gaussian blur on the clip might help.

Is there anyway you can email the clip? – i wouldn’t mind having a go at sorting this for you if i can.

One other thought – have you got your QT Player settings set to show High Quality? There are various settings in the QT preferences that might help you.

Whats your final output format going to be? What will you be showing the clip on? (tv or computer screen or something else)

Is the clip in Pal or NTSC ?( i assume Pal if your in Italy.)

a good choice – my only problem with the show (apart from Clarkson being a…err better not swear) is the fact that sometime the content does get lost in the style.

For me, a good show is all about its subject matter. If the style begins to surpass the content, then the director needs a slap.

Don’t know the channels you refer to Grinner – we don’t get them over here in the UK.

Bump in the Nite sounds like something to keep an eye out for. I must admit to having a slightly love hate relationship with stop-motion animation – I worked for 6 years editing and sound designing on some very successful animation series (Bob the Builder & Pingu). I enjoyed the work but i am so glad to be cutting commercials now!

” In the Intel Mac can not live toguether in the same HD FC and Shake or AE. If they are together, you can not render in 10b in those applications.”

WHAT!! – no 10bit uncompressed rendering? Well that is enough for me to avoid it like the plague. All my work is done in that format, using all three of those apps.

    thanks for the advice chaps.

on a similar note – there is one clip i would love to see again, but i doubt its in circulation. I saw it live whilst at home…

about 10 years ago, during the main 10pm News , the presenter (who shall remain nameless to protect his honour) was reading a story about a murder enquiry. His line went something like “…and tonight, police were scouring the C-nt Kentryside….err (eyes opened wide in shock) Kent countryside..) The presenter did a masterful job of covering his faux pas. The following day at the tv station i worked at the lines room was in turmoil as every lines room in the country tried contacting each other trying to find a recording of the fluff. Mysteriously nobody could locate one – the power of the networks!!

    great suggestion Jon.

I ran macjanitor rather than terminal, but it does the same thing…and it has freed the ram without a reboot.

    thanks again.
