March 27, 2008 at 12:42 pmon a similar note – there is one clip i would love to see again, but i doubt its in circulation. I saw it live whilst at home…
about 10 years ago, during the main 10pm News , the presenter (who shall remain nameless to protect his honour) was reading a story about a murder enquiry. His line went something like “…and tonight, police were scouring the C-nt Kentryside….err (eyes opened wide in shock) Kent countryside..) The presenter did a masterful job of covering his faux pas. The following day at the tv station i worked at the lines room was in turmoil as every lines room in the country tried contacting each other trying to find a recording of the fluff. Mysteriously nobody could locate one – the power of the networks!!

March 27, 2008 at 3:59 pmReminds me of this classic piece of American TV for a classic campaign. This talk back was BROADCASTED.
It gets interesting around 1:45 or so. Check out the commentary from the news anchors at the end as well. Brilliant journalism.

March 27, 2008 at 5:47 pmObviously, the number of votes cast for John Kerry were directly linked to amount of confetti and balloons released at the convention. The swift boat attack clearly wasn’t as big a factor.
I’ll bet this year there’s gonna be so much crap flying in the air that you won’t have a clue whose getting the nomination. We’ll be asking afterward, was it the woman or the black guy???
