I ended up just making another graphic for the section that was disappearing. Make sure your graphic isn’t overlapping with the background in z-space and that you’ve got some distance between your camera and your graphics. I’ve found that the order of your layers on the timeline can cause some weird stuff to happen too. Other than that, I’m not sure what you can do.

I’d suggest using the softest light possible. If by flood lights you mean regular work lights, you’ll need to diffuse them. Even hanging a sheet of paper in front (not too close – don’t want it to catch fire) to diffuse the light. Anything really that is white and semi-opaque – paper, fabric, ect. Also, when using your flash, if the ceiling is low enough (approx. 10 feet or less), bounce the flash off of the ceiling for diffusion or just use a diffuser on your flash. That should drastically reduce your shadows.

Just do some googling on light diffusion and you should find plenty of guides.

Worst case scenario you could cut the pieces out since I’m assuming you’re using a solid colored background. You can add some shadows yourself if you want to make it look less cut out.

Make sure you have the correct layer selected and that it is not locked. A locked layer will have Rasterize grayed out.

A workaround that I’ve used in the past is creating an empty layer directly above the vector and merging the two (Select both layers and press CMD+E/CTRL+E or Layer > Merge Layers)

I don’t have a VisTablet but I’ve had my Wacom Intuos 3 for years and it’s fantastic. In most cases, there’s a reason one brand is much more known than another. Check out this article for some comparative info: https://www.blurtit.com/q676668.html

That would make sense but the graphic and the camera are not angled at all and the graphic layer is at z: 0 and the camera is at about z: -200

It is a 3D layer. There is a camera parented to a null object
