Zippo Flame
I am wondering if anyone knows of a tutorial on how to make a flame that a zippo would produce. I just can’t seem to get it to look quite right.

It is almost always easier to use a stock footage element for flame or explosions than to try to simulate one. There’s a lot of free fire and explosion footage at Detonation Films.
There’s some information on creating and compositing flames in some pages linked to from After Effects Help.
