Ok, I’ve been playing with the effect a little more and I’m beginning to understand it.

My question now is that, say I have a clip that’s 15 seconds that I would like to slow down 50% to 30 seconds. With timewarp after 15 seconds the out point stays the same. What happens to that other 15 seconds of slowed down footage?

    Makes sense actually.

Just doing it in Maya is probably the easiest option.

    Thanks for the help,

    Thanks for the suggestions.

Macworld? Are you guys talking about the online retailer/reviews magazine?

The computer was to be meant as a Christmas gift. Do you really think an 8-core will be available a few weeks after for the same price, it’s not a problem. I just want to be 100% sure I’m right in waiting.

    They overlap unfortunately.

Rotoscoping it is, I’m gonna check out a few tutorials first to get it done as fast as possible.

    Thanks for the advice.

Wow, that’s exactly what I’m looking for.

I added a directional blur to the stars too as the camera moves, any other advice to make it look more realistic?
