Thank you SO much. You are correct – the burn utility in the Mac OsX couldn’t format the CD but iTunes did.

I exported the FCP .mov file to my desktop. From there I dragged it onto an empty CD and clicked on burn in the upper right hand corner. I want an audio CD to play in a CD player. And yes, one of the CDs I burned said data file when I tried to play it.

I just want to hear the music/sound effects. Don’t want a DVD- just a simple CD which I am obviously not doing correctly.

    Please help.

    Thanks

I had not thought of the supernatural but that may be an answer. I am using FCP 6 and the audio does not go out of sync. 2 Channels of audio will go from track 1 & 2 on the timeline to 1 & 3 or 4. It is not consistent where it jumps. It happens whether it is stereo or not.

How do I convert it to Quicktime? The manual tells about exporting AVI files to Quicktime but not about HOW to convert avi to QT files.

Here is where I reveal the true depth of my ignorance. What is CMYK mode?

Sorry for my ambiguity. Just meant that by using Option P I know that the clip on the timeline is there and working.
I have done the Sequence – render and the render is – red. Done that and it works on all my other rendering of red.
I don’t know if it has something to do with the Jumpbacks clip or not. My other renders on my timeline are working – just not this one.
