Hmm. Nothing dynamically linked here. It’s a very basic project. It seems to be another way of premiere showing 00:00:00 left and still taking a long time to finish the export once the 100% mark is reached. Different digits, same result.

Thanks for the response. If I understand correctly, image files are in square pixels, so I told AE to use square pixels in the comp and it seems to have worked. Thanks for helping a noob!

Sorry for the confusion. The yellow part is actually a mask I put in that I was using to try to mask everything behind it. Also, as to black and white, the hand and scroll are precomped to be placed on a background. The finished product will look something like this:
