Comp size vs Layer size
I’ve started a new comp sized 1024 x 768 and I’ve imported a png layer the exact same size and for whatever reason they are not the same size! My png is wider than the comp. What is going on? I’ve started over from scratch several times with same result.

I’m guessing that you’re interpreting the pixels in the footage item as being of a different pixel aspect ratio than that of the composition.

Thanks for the response. If I understand correctly, image files are in square pixels, so I told AE to use square pixels in the comp and it seems to have worked. Thanks for helping a noob!
