July 2, 2014 at 3:58 am in reply to: Maybe having “real” forum leaders was better???Hello David,
Yes, there was testing done in this regard. Having the system dynamically determine who has done the most leadership lately allows more forums and people to flow in and out of the leadership roles. There are some forums where a static hosting team has been kept, and others where a hybrid system is in place. From forum to forum the COW admin team has the ability to set which forum utilizes which hosting system. If a particular forum is better served one way over another, we are happy to adapt to what works best. A balance between human and machine logic is generally advantageous, in my opinion.

Hello Benjamin,
Thank you for letting us know about this issue. I’ve added the SpeedGrade forum to the Adobe and Color Correction categories.
The topic view is the default view now for most people coming in to the site. If you are logged in, you can change your default view in the settings page.
Thanks again!

Hello Don,
A message sent to you bounced, so your account was deactivated.
You might be able to solve this by whitelisting our mail server IP address (65.49.44.240) with your ISP or adding bessie@creativecow.net to your contacts.
You are able to reactivate your account by sending yourself a reactivation link from our reactivation page:
https://secure.creativecow.net/account/resendActivation
If the email from us gets through you will be able to reactivate your account. If you can’t get the email to go through, you might consider changing your account email address to Gmail account, Yahoo!, or another service which will have better results.
Hope this helps!

June 11, 2014 at 5:34 pm in reply to: Downloading public domaine files for public useHello John,
This forum is more for feedback and communication about Creative COW itself.
You might try the business and marketing forum:
https://forums.creativecow.net/businessmarketing
This is a good forum for things of a legal or business nature. My two cents:
Anything in the public domain is free to use however you want, even for commercial use. You just need to make sure it is in the public domain before using =)I’m not a lawyer, so I can’t really give you legal advice. Just my opinion.

It’s in a list found here:

https://forums.creativecow.net/search.php?q=%22Stephen+Franciosa%22
This will also show when your name is mentioned by others.Hope this helps.
