Yes, Vegas is backwards compatible to 7, and they can both be installed on the same PC.

SOLVED: I just deleted the audio proxy files and it rebuilt them properly. Wonder why it kept doing that. Hope I don’t have to keep doing this workaround.

I think I was using MainConcept, but I’ll give it another look when this current render (to AVI) is done.

I don’t have any big JPGs as far as I know, but I’m currently rendering in chunks, which seems to be working. Didn’t want to do that, but I suppose it’s not a bad idea. Since the render is a full day if I do the whole thing, if something’s wrong at any point with the movie I only have to re-render a small piece. Thanks mate!
