Hi Tim sorry for the delay and thanks for your help by the way…

I have downloaded Cine Form and will try it out tonight as I am shooting today. So I’ll let you know on that front.
As for the settings the Z1 was set on Pal 25fps interlaced on the standard 1080 50i and as far as I am aware so was PPro… My system is only 2months old and is pretty much empty so I would have thought that it could of handled HD (well that

Hi Tim, The Audio seems to go out of sync gradually usually completely by about 4-6mins in.
I have tried to capture the whole tape and bits in 3-4 min chunks… which would take me a year just to capture. Also in the capture tool the scene capture check box is greyed out. and when I try to do a batch capture it will not find the in point and asks to extend the pre-roll but a pre-roll of 3 or 20 seconds makes no difference… :o(

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks

Thanks for the tip but on both Z1 and JVC there is no option to change the bit rate… and the only option in premier is 48000hrz… nothing about 12 or 16bit? Still stuck… :o(

    Any thing else?

Hey there guys… Thanks for the response and tips, They were great. Good stuff there I had not thought about, and I know I will use them in the future.
After a lot of brain melting and fighting with field order, I figured out that for some reason AE (I don’t know how) was rendering out the video in the comp lower field first but the text upper? (that

That makes a lot of sense thanks…
I was rendering to an avi file which I’m sure supports alpha. I guess I should just learn Maya instead…

    But thanks for your time…
