    I had this same problem, except the text was stationary and the camera moved. But the same thing happened that you are describing. An answer from someone would be appreciated.

    Like MakuOnline said, Detonation Films can do custom work for you. So if you’re looking for something more specific, you might want to tell them what you’re looking for. If you have Andrew Kramer’s DVDs as well, I’m not sure where else to find good blood effect footage.

  • vinzmunoz said his videos were 720×480, not 16×9. That means they are standard 4X3 Broadcast size. So the only thing I can think of that he could be talking about is typical title safe trimming on a non flatscreen Television set.

  • It sounds like you are just experience problems with the title safe/action safe areas. Standard cathode ray Television sets always trim areas around the top, bottom and sides. If you play it on a projector, or a flatscreen plasma TV, you will have no trimming and you’ll see the full image. Just make sure anything important (like text) is inside the title safe area so that all TVs will be suitable for viewing your projects.
