So, you are using Quicktime as your source files? If so, that may be the issue. Can you try importing an AVI clip to see if you can repeat the problem?

Try this:
Create a rolling title in Premiere Pro 1.5
Import the 1.5 project in 2.0
Compare.

Also, is your preview settings set to Automatic Quality? If so, change that to ‘Best’ quality.

What you describe is possible. However, it will become complicated. For every button you would have to create a highlight that would represent what you are doing. If you are interested, let me know and I can post a quick demo.

Hi Eric,
I haven’t run into this problem so far, but a few people that I work with and train have (unfortunately) seen this issue. What other softwares are you running on your system? Can you put up an entire list? Also, download and run an application called Everest Home Edition. Follow the directions and it will generate an HTML file. If you can send me the HTML file, we can perhaps track this down further.

Great tutorial! However, I have a question regarding the playback controls. Are they custom created? If so, were they done directly in Flash or via a 3rd party app?
