Dear Pale,I donwloaded a trail vertion plugin from natress.com to have a try,but the image quality of exporting clip reduced :it is kind of vibrating when played.you may feel as if the player can’t play it fluently.
what’s more,I notice that when I use the plugin to convert,the NTSC clip was supposed to NEST on a PAL timeline,I can’t understand the machanism for this action,Maybe you can enlighten me on this?

If I purchase and install it ,then the extra black and silence will disappear,right?

Dear Sir,
The correspondent plug-ins are not there as you supposed.
We copy theses plug-ins from the other computer to the un-working one,however ,it seems that nothing happended.

We are reinstalling AE ,hoping that works.

Maybe get the outline of your picture in PS by the PEN TOOL can work.
