    10.4.10 will only potently be a problem on a Intel Core 2 Duo machine, it is perfectly fine on all others.

    It is fine, the only machines that have issues with it are the Intel Core 2 Duos

    multiple formats can do 1080i60 29.29, perhaps it is exporting a format other then HDV

    Open system preferences, go to accounts, click on start up items, and remove color from the list.

    The file you exported from after effects douse not match your sequence settings in FCP.

    What were your export settings in AF?

    If you are going to be doing work in AE I would get out of the HDV format.

    There is ABSOLUTELY NO LEGAL PLACE TO DOWNLOAD THE OS. You NEED to go and PURCHASE a new copy.

    you do not want to archive in a format that is more compressed then the original, this is why most people archive on tape

    Compressor is good, but the biggest thing that will make the difference is the actual settings that you use to encode.

    Also make sure that you have previewed the video first from FCP to a broadcast monitor or at least to a TV. Computer screens are not an accurate representation of video graphics and color.
