Anyone have any info on the latest OSX 10.4.10 update? Is it stable? Does it actually bring more stability?

(I know. Don’t upgrade if things are working.)

    Happy editing –

Sorry forgot to mention, I’m editing with FCP 5.1.4 on a G5 dual 2.7.

Running the exact same system here without any issues. Also a Dual 2.0 G5 a couple G4s and an intel iMac. Only doing DV work right now. Enjoy and have fun.

OSX 10.4.10 has not been a problem for me but QT 7.2 is.
In particular if you use Flip4Mac export from FCP for WMV creation.
    This headlines their forums:

“Latest News: Export users – Please refrain updating to QT 7.2 if you haven’t yet – 7-12-07”

    https://forum.flip4mac.com/forum/messageview.aspx?catid=10&threadid=263&enterthread=y

Either they will come up with a fix or Apple will, we are waiting.
(I have another issue with sample rate converion in Compressor 3.0.1
after updating to QT 7.2, but that’s for another thread)

10.4.10 will only potently be a problem on a Intel Core 2 Duo machine, it is perfectly fine on all others.
