Fair play to the fella who got through 2 boxes of it, at least he gave it a proper try … I prefer PG Tips myself tho.

I’m not sure you’re being fair. This is a completely new tea, brewed for the future and where we are headed not where we have been.

It’s a work in progress, and I fully expect the next version of this tea to be every bit as tasty and popular as the old Earl Grey. For those who are not happy with tea, there’s always Lipton.

I would also like to point out that this tea is MUCH easier to use, and faster!

Meh! You Twinnings fanboys will drink anything … at least with PG Tips I can talk direct to the product managers and they make me feel special.

Get over it already you whiners. You guys have already been bitching for way too long. You’re nothing but a bunch of old fogies, pros, and luddites. You know you have to move on to another tea, so just get lost and go do it.

Earl Grey goes 64 bit. Finally!

I wonder why did they changed the flavor? Weird.

Perhaps they shouldn’t have called it Earl Grey, but maybe Lipton Pro?

Actually, I think my experience was more like looking forward to a new blend of tea, but–without any further explanation–was given this instead:

It’s Earl Grey X – a rethinking of the whole “tea” paradigm:

It’s not made from tea leaves and you don’t actually drink it. Instead it’s refined tree bark that comes in suppository form, because we know where you need to stick it.

They may had picked the beta-testers from the local pub or even from a Starbucks shop.
Anyway, for me tea bags are like a preset; I prefer to make my own blend.

Yeah Dave, but the Lipton tea bag has the pleated fold design, with the staple string-tag retainer, so it takes two extra steps to get it into the cup. I want to stick with the Twinings – it’s the pro tea drinker’s choice.
