[Rafael Amador] “The truth is that, as I said before, I don’t see a bright future for BR.”

maybe for storage, but for playback its very bright.

It’s only a little behind DVD as far as mass adoption numbers up to
    this point.

    Hey Mike,

If you’re looking at simple Blu-Ray output, then use Roxio’s Toast 9. It does a pretty good job and I haven’t made a coaster yet.

Not saying it’s not true, but that does not seem possible, even with the PS3!

Do you have a link for this?

[Mike Schrengohst] “Apple really needs to get on with offering Blu-Ray authoring. “

Why? There are so many good tools out there like DoStudio from NetBlender. New features coming out today to make it even better.

DoStudio looks incredible! If I had an extra $3k lying around I’d be all over it, even though, if I’m honest with myself, all I need is what Toast 10Pro can give me. Oh well.

    Hi Mike. Hope you’re well.

The lack of Blu-ray support from Apple has been a thorn in my side too. The bright side is that, eventually, I just simply cannot see them NOT supporting it sometime… and we sure have waited for a long time. I think we’ll know soon.
