Why No DVD Studio Pro Upgrade: My Take

What can DoStudio do that Encore can not? Edius had very Basic DVD authoring but I don’t consider Encore to be basic. Please inform me of what I am missing. Educate me please.

Encore cannot make a reliable BluRay disc with anything other than a Play Only menu. We have tried numerous and I mean NUMEROUS times over the past two years (read my blogs for more) to make fully functional, multi menu driven BluRay discs. They fail. Either they don’t complete the build, they lock up, Encore tells me the project was created in Windows or any number of other errors.

Encore cannot make a commercially replicatable BluRay disc. It does not meet the current BluRay specs for commercial replicators.

DoStudio is a professional BluRay authoring (and now encoding) tool that creates fully functional, professional BluRay discs with full menu functionality and meets commercial replication specs.

DoStudio works.
