Swap the USB cable. Perhaps the power cables in there are loose and touching the metal and you are completing the circuit.

W[Hdfilmmaker] “Everytime I touch the USB port on the back of my apple keyboard I get shocked. WHy and how do I get this to stop?”

If you lick your finger and stick it into a light bulb socket, then turn on the switch, your keyboard will no longer shock you.

Wait…is “light socket” a new hip synonym for something else?

I think it’s time for a Creative Cow Adults Only forum….

Have you turned on the heat in your office? Once you turn on the heat, your office will dry up making you much more suseptible to shocks. We run a humidifier during the winter months to cut down on shocks from touching anything metal around.
