where are the CC effects??
Hi, I did a search for this with no luck….
My company just upgraded my setup to a quad 2.5 mac with AFX pro 6.5. I’ve just been watching some of the tutorial DVDs and they mention ‘CC’ effects like starburst etc. I can’t seem to find any of these effects in my program! They are not in the effects menu and they are not in the effects and presets window. They just aint there. I definitely have the production bundle, the glow effect is there for example, but not these new effects. I can probably ring the dealer or something tomorrow but I thought i’d check here to see if anyone has had the same problem??

I have had the same problem but with locating keylight. How do you access 3rd party plugins like keylight?

Check the AE CD.

I would have but I had the IT dept install it for me as they do not allow “regular” employees to do such things. They keep all program cd’s unfortunately. Do you have to copy the bundled plugins like keylight to the plugin directory in After effects, or do you have to use an installer on the cd……..if I am understanding you correctly.

Sorry, I don’t remember. Just ask the IT boys to install Keylight, along with the CC plugs if you need ’em.
