Vegas still won’t open

Hi,I too have a problem with Sony Vegas
I used sony vegas pro 9 and all of suden it stopped working,when I open it, it loads and then shows me this message-Failed to initialize script host.
I looked up on google and youtube,and some say that’s because when someone uses windows upate it sometimes deletes some files that are important to our programs,and some that i need a new version.
But i believe it’s the first one,i did used a lot of windows update,but i don’t know if that’s the problem.
I uninstaled sony and deleted all the files and instaled sony pro 10 and when i opened it it still showed that message.Please help me,I don’t know what to do.
