In VP17 open Preferences and then click on the Deprecated Tab and make sure QT/Mov is selected.

August 10, 2020 at 8:47 pmThst render menu was the render menu for the standalone version of particle illusion.
It needs to be rendered out in particle illusion so I can import it into Vegas 17.
It renders out fine and I can import it but it is not transparent.Roger Bansemer – PaintingAndTravel.com

Ah, right! I know the standalone from years ago. I’m guessing that VP needs to have the ALPHA channel in a way that it recognises. Have you had success doing this before? Or is this your first attempt? There’s obviously an ALPHA Flag Vegas ain’t seeing. Please do a MediaInfo on that MOV. Yes?
