Vegas Pro 10 + Magic Bullet Looks 1.4 = Crash?
My problem is this:
I am currently running Windows 7 64-Bit, with Vegas Pro 10 32-bit installed and Magic Bullet Looks 1.4 installed. I’ve been attempting to open a project file with Magic Bullet Looks applied to all of the shots, but the project crashes immediately after the splash screen with a “Vegas Pro has stopped working” with the following error information:
Problem Description
Application Name: Vegas Pro
Application Version: Version 10.0a (Build 387)
Problem: Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005)
Fault Module: C:\Windows\system32\nvoglv32.DLL

Process Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Vegas Pro 10.0\vegas100.exe
Process Version: Version 10.0a (Build 387)
Process Description: Vegas Pro
Process Image Date: 2010-10-05 (Tue Oct 05) 21:43:54The color correction was applied by my colorist friend who is using almost an identical setup to mine and had no problems with 64-bit Windows 7 and 32-bit Vegas Pro 10. Another interesting note is that I am able to open a new project file and drop raw footage into the timeline and add Magic Bullet Looks to the footage without any trouble. It’s just opening this project file crashes the program.
When I uninstall Magic Bullet Looks 1.4, I can open the project file just fine — except I get a missing plug-in error and all the hours of color correction are gone.
I’m losing my mind here. Any ideas?
